Create Social Listening Search

The Create Social Listening Search node creates a saved search from inside a workflow. Use it when a workflow needs to create monitoring automatically instead of relying on a manually created search.

When to use this node

  • Create a new search when a new account, topic, competitor, or segment is added.

  • Standardise search creation across teams or workflows.

  • Build workflows that create monitoring based on CRM, form, or webhook inputs.

Supported source types

Available source types can vary by workspace and product access. Common social listening sources include:

  • Business Network posts

  • X/Twitter posts

  • Reddit posts

  • Subreddit posts where enabled

  • Substack posts / Notes where enabled

  • YouTube videos

  • Podcast keywords

  • Hacker News stories

  • DailyDev posts where enabled

Inputs

A clear internal name for the saved search.

Source / platform

Optional terms to narrow or exclude noise.

How often the search should run. New searches may default to Bi-Daily.

Important notes

  • Do not over-filter at search creation. Use workflows and agents to qualify the results afterwards.

  • Check the created search in Listening to confirm result quality.

  • Some source types may be available in the app before they are available in API/MCP, or vice versa. Use the source options shown in your workspace as the source of truth.
